A very popular region with people buying French property. Great climate and property that is considerably cheaper than many of the other areas in the south. Deep in the heart of the Cathar country, the Aude lies in the Languedoc-Roussillon on the edge of the Pyrenees. Aude has over 50km of Mediterranean coastline, but also has Cathar Castles, mountains and deep forests to interest those with a taste for adventure.
